November is a month filled with holidays (Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving, Election Day, Dia de los Muertos). There is a lot to teach and a lot of potentially fun thematic resources to use to pull these holidays into your lessons. I’d love to show you guys what I think is perfect to use in the primary classroom during the month of November. I did this same post for October last month and lots of readers loved grabbing that freebie! So, here’s my list of November Resources for K-3.
ELA Resources for You
(Thanksgiving Fictional Stories)
My fictional stories include five fictional stories with two follow-up activities for comprehension. The reading passages are 2nd and 3rd grade reading level.
My paired passages include a fictional story and also a nonfiction text on the same topic. The November pack comes with five different seasonal themes. You can also use this with traditional printable pages or an interactive notebook format.
