This Kindergarten ELA resource is a unit to teach the standard RF.K.2.d CVC Words, which is all about teaching a kindergarten student to isolate the initial, medial, and final sounds in a CVC word. It comes with a week-long lesson plan unit, plus supplemental centers and graphic organizers. The resources help students pronounce the initial and final sounds or phonemes in a word, as well as identify and pronounce the medial vowel.

*There are two versions of this unit. The first half of the PDF is using terminology “initial, medial, and final”. The second half is the same resources, but using terminology “beginning, middle, and end”.
