Description

This 4th Grade Speaking and Listening unit is a full unit for the 4th grade domain of Speaking and Listening Skills. Speaking and Listening is one of the six domains for ELA. In this domain, students will practice speaking clearly with detail, listening intently with purpose, and carrying on collaborative conversations.

There are six standards within this domain. Each standard has 5 activities that teachers can complete over the course of their specific unit. The activities are written in lesson plan format, too. Each standard also comes with a half-page self-assessment. There are also 5 bonus activities at the end to incorporate into your units as needed.

**If you’re wanting to buy multiple SL grade levels, please keep in mind that the 2nd grade and 3rd grade SL sets have similar activities and lessons, but with different words, phrases, pictures, and topics. 4th grade also has 3 unique standards for SL, so those are totally different.**

This domain is also included in a year-long ELA mega bundle for 4th grade. If you want to save money and buy all the domains at once, check out the year-long set. Click here for 4th Grade ELA.
