This is a set of story elements task cards for independent readers or reading partners. These cards will accompany the student during independent reading time or buddy reading time to make sure they understood the story they just read.
Each task card asks a question about the story elements within the story, such as characters, setting, events, conflict, and resolution. There are also a few extra task cards to help further strengthen their comprehension.
Teacher could also use this in whole group after a story read aloud.
