W.4.4 W.4.5 W.4.6- Editing, Revising, and Publishing Writing 4th Grade

This is a fourth grade writing unit.
This is an editing, revising, and publishing writing product that includes lesson plans, writing papers, and assessments perfect for teaching your students the correct way to revise and edit their work. In fourth grade, students must peer edit, revise and edit their work, then publish their work with different formats, digitally and not digitally.

-10 LESSONS-
There are 10 lesson plans. These can be spread out over the course of 3 or 4 weeks. There are many activities within each lesson plans, which should take you about 2 or 3 days to complete each. The lesson plans are scaffolded to gradually teach the process of writing opinion pieces.

Several of the activities are changed, too, but it follows a similar format.**

With some guidance and support from adults, use technology, including the Internet, to produce and publish writing as well as to interact and collaborate with others; demonstrate sufficient command of keyboarding skills to type a minimum of one page in a single sitting.
