How to Make Summer Practice Packs

Low-prep summer review packets

Summer practice packs have always been a tough thing for me to tackle. Simply because with awards, report cards, end of the year fun, and all of the other craziness during the last month of school, it’s hard to keep up with it all.

Within the summer review packets that I have created, there are two options: half-sized pages that you’ll cut and staple or a brand-new printable worksheet option.

There are two options in the summer practice packs:

  • One-sided book
  • Two-sided book

I HIGHLY, HIGHLY suggest using my two-sided books. Each book only takes eight pieces of paper per kid… And it makes it “staple-able.”

1: Print out the packet.

Front/back if you choose the two-sided book!

2: Cut in half.

3: Put the top half on top of the bottom half.

Page 14 and 15 should line upright in the middle. No organizing or rearranging required!

4: Staple or Tie!

I have found that the PaperPro One Finger stapler at WalMart is a magical tool! Swinglines are good too, for more paper.

If your stapler isn’t able to staple through 15+ pages, you can hole punch and tie!
