Are you a teacher looking for fun 100th day of school ideas? Or maybe you’re a parent looking for 100 day project ideas to help your child celebrate their 100th day of school! Either way, this blog post will outline a few projects, activities, and ideas for the classroom.
100 Day Project Ideas: Poster Collections
What is important to remember if you’re planning a Family Project is to challenge your students and parents to try to use what is lying around their house. Although 100 seems like a giant number to children, they’ll learn that within their home, they can definitely find 100 items!
The fun part of gathering up 100 items from their household is to turn it into art! Here are a few poster ideas for students:
- cotton balls
- q-tips
- dots
- candy hearts
- Goldfish
- stickers
- fruit loops on a string
- legos stacked up
- Monster with 100 googly eyes
Whole School 100 Day of School Project: School Train

This whole school team-building exercise allows classrooms to create 100th Day of School Art Projects. Then, they’ll create a giant school-wide art project! Each classroom gets 2-3 train cars and fills them with 100 of something. Then, you try to wrap the train around the entire school.

Let them gain bragging rights by completing 100 exercises! This exercise page is also a part of my full 100th Day Activity Packet!
