Description
This RL.2.3 character trait and response (problem and solution) 2nd grade story elements reading unit is full of standards-based lesson plans, Lexile reading comprehension passages, graphic organizers, anchor charts, and activities to use while you are teaching the standard RL2.3.
If you are not teaching Common Core, then the unit is still valuable to use when teaching students how to describe story elements, focusing on describing challenges the characters faces in a story and how they respond to that challenge.
