The month of October is such a fun time to get kids excited for Halloween! I am going to give you some fun Halloween math ideas for kids to use in your classroom. These ideas are easy and hands-on for the kids to learn and use.

Patterning Fun

The next few items are patterning activities that I got from Oriental Trading. I stocked up knowing that the kiddos would absolutely love these Halloween math ideas for kids. (Disclosure: I received three products for review from Oriental Trading. All opinions are my own.)

These stamps from Oriental Trading are amazing. Modeling AB, ABC, ABA, and ABB patterns are made simple and fun with these fall stampers! I made a simple template for them to make, which is offered as a math freebie below.

This craft from Oriental Trading is also a really fun Halloween math idea for kids. Put it in one of your math centers during the fall, and you’re all set. The students are provided with foam leaves and a circle. They are also given peel and stick glue dots to lay down the leaves.

These apple erasers from Oriental Trading make perfect ten frame markers! Check out the way I used them for ten frame and teen frames. Students can display a number on the ten/teen frame, then they can make addition and related subtraction problems from it. These two pages are also included in the freebie.
