I blogged about some of my favorite telling time activities back in 2013 in this blog post!
I’ve added some fun activities to my telling time lessons with my Time Activity Pack! Centers, printables, interactive notebooks, and mini books are all offered. In the pack, each activity is offered with time to the hour, to the half-hour, to the quarter-hour, and for every five minutes. Take a closer look at the full unit below…
Centers
Hands-on centers time is a very critical learning time for students. Use these time centers to help students solidify their hour, half-hour, quarter-hour, and five-minute increment skills.
Printables
These worksheets will help students with their time to the hour, half-hour, quarter-hour, and five minutes. There are even some a.m. and p.m. activities, plus money word problems!
Interactive Notebooks
These interactive notebook template pieces are to be used in the student’s math notebooks. There are about 10-12 activities for students to do, ranging from time to the hour to time to five minutes. You’ll need to have a math notebook already set up for this! All that’s needed are scissors, glue, notebooks and they’re ready to learn.
Telling Time Activities Mini Books
The mini books in this unit cover time to the hour, half-hour, quarter-hour, and 5-minute intervals. They are cut-apart books that students can cut into four squares and staple together. They are a great reference for them to keep in their math folders when working in partners or independently.
